Paul Stanton, our Chair of Governors, is a hardworking, highly motivated and driven individual. Born in Kirkby, and an ex pupil of St Kevin’s Comprehensive School, he went on to successfully study for his BA, MA and BCL in Law at Oxford University. Whilst an established partner in a large law firm, Paul still maintained a strong connection with the local community, having served as a school Governor at All Saints Catholic High School and a Trustee, and later Chair, of KIND-a well known Liverpool based Charity.

As an proactive person, Paul has a breadth of hobbies and interests, including: Rugby League, travelling, badminton, and golf. He has also raised substantial funds for various charities.

As a motivated Governor at Northwood Community Primary School, Paul feels that he will bring the right mix of background, education, experience and business acumen to the Board. Ultimately, he would like to help maximise the aspirations and opportunities of the children who are in the same position as he was 50ish years ago!
