Local High Schools

Most of the mainstream children in our school leave us in Year 6 and go on to attend one of our two local high school, either Kirkby High School or All Saints Catholic High School. 

Keep an eye on their websites for details of open days and evenings when parents can visit. Contact the high school offices if you would like to have a walk around, staff there will be happy to accommodate you.

Other High School Provisions 

Some of our children with additional needs or EHCPs attend other high schools, with most moving on, at the end of Year 6, to Altbridge School. Entry into Altbridge is through a local authority annual review and consultation process and parents will be asked to express preferences in the annual review in their child's first half term of Year 6.

Infrequently some children with complex needs in our DSP go on to Bluebell Park School. Entry into Bluebell Park is through a local authority annual review and consultation process and parents will be asked to express preferences in the annual review in their child's first half term of Year 6.
