Impact of communication and language development is measured rigorously, through close monitoring of speech and language targets and progress. Impact is measured in school by specialist Language Hub teachers and externally via NHS Speech and Language Therapists and Assistants. 

Half termly phonics assessments assess reading progress and determine next steps in teaching and lending of early reading for children in EYFS/KS1.
