At Northwood Community Primary school we are immensely proud of the fact that we provide every child, regardless of need, with a free school lunch, which is cooked fresh on site by our chef and catering team. 

If your child has any specific dietary requirements please share these with your child's DSP class teacher during transition. 

If necessary, DSP children can bring a packed lunch. Packed lunches must be healthy and sugary drinks, sweets and chocolate are not allowed unless there are substantiated medical reasons to explain why your child might need a different diet (e.g. AFRID). 

Children in the DSP eat in the small hall, which is quieter and smaller and more suited to their needs. Some of our children are able to access the mainstream lunch offer in the large hall and the mainstream playground and we are happy to facilitate this.
