LHUB IMPLEMENTATION
In the LHUB the implementation of our curriculum is centred around the elimination of speech and language barriers to learning.
Children undertake intensive and regular intervention to support their language needs and curriculum learning and interactions are delivered via a total communication approach.
Children are an integrated part of our school community, attending assemblies, taking part in enrichment days and trips and all other school activities.
We follow the appropriate mainstream year group curriculums and adapt a needed to support language acquisition and mitigate barriers caused by communication and interaction difficulties.
